Things to Remember About ICHAT:
- New iChat features in Mac OS X Leopard Apple added several new features in iChat for Mac OS X Leopard. Some of the key new features include: Backdrops - allows you to add a backdrop behind you. IChat Theater - allows you to show files on your Mac during your video chat. You can show photos, presentations, and movies.
- I started reviewing all the new components in iChat, however when I selected 'Film Stock.qtz' it kernel protection faulted. From that point on, iChat would protection fault just trying to scroll to the 'Show Video Effects' pane which contained that composition.

- Open iChat AV by clicking on its icon in the Dock or in the Applications folder. A dialog box opens to help you set up your account after you launch iChat AV. Follow the instructions in the screen (you'll need to know your.Mac email address or AIM screen name and your password for your account) to configure iChat.
- ICHAT search results are available to view and print online immediately once payment is approved. The results are available that day and for the next seven days; after the seventh day they will be deleted. The results are NOT mailed.
- The search result means that a check of the Michigan State Police criminal history file has been completed and is ready to view. It does not mean that a criminal record was or was not found that matched your entry.
- ICHAT reports may not be accepted by all organizations. Check with the agency requiring the background check before paying for an ICHAT search.
- Social security numbers and driver license numbers are not searchable.
- Users must verify their data is correct before submitting it. If a user submits inaccurate data (such as a duplicate search, a misspelled name or wrong gender) they should correct it before checking out of the shopping cart.

iChat has proven very useful to me for doing 'remote support' with clients. Using iChat one can do Screen Sharing, so not only can I 'see' the screen of a clients computer, we also have audio ‘chat' at the same time so we can get off the phone.
